About this project

The website acts as both a front-end to the business and a tool for contractors to view and download safety reports, which is accessed via a password-protected system.

The client can control all aspects of the website using the WordPress admin. The homepage has four featured boxes which can be managed independently. Internal pages have an unlimited secondary content area allowing the client to add supporting imagery and content to the main information. The client also has the ability to change the large banner on individual pages or across an entire section — if multiple images are selected, then a slideshow is run.

There is a password protected area with two levels of access. Firstly there is a contractor level, which allows the user to view documents which have been associated to a parent account. Users are able to search the documents as well as filter by location and report date. A second level, the parent account, gives access to the user to create and manage contractors and upload documents. This level can also check which documents the contractor has viewed.
